Our first real tree! It's been up for about a week, amazingly with most of its needles still attached. The rest are in Tela's belly. Don't be fooled by her innocent looking pose on the bench.

Who decided I should like birthday cards featuring cats dressed up as humans or doing human things? Fred, apparently. You're probably wondering what kind of card could top last year's gem:








The best part is on the inside, where Fred wrote, "It's funny because it's cats bowling!". Ohhhhhh, now I get it.










Well, check this beauty out:


Classic. The joke here is that the cat on the card looks like Pudge. (I know this because Fred wrote, "It's Pudge!" on the inside.) If Pudge wasn't so freaked out to be posing with her doppleganger on a greeting card you might be able to see the resemblance a little more.

Commence birthday week! I got a box of treats this weekend from my lovely Kate. Here's a sample of the goodies:















A mini green-tea infused chocolate bar and the most delicious tangerine lip balm! Everything came all wrapped up in a darling box from October Moon, complete with a scented rose tied on top. Thanks, Kate!! :D
